プログラマブルSPXO

PLL回路を持った水晶発振器のうち、プログラムすることにより任意の出力周波数を設定できるもの。プログラムにより任意の周波数が得られるので、リードタイムが短い、少ない数量でも対応できるという特徴があります。プログラムは、専用のプログラミングツールを使って周波数データを書き込みます(プログラム前の発振器をブランク品と言います)。 エプソンは、プログラマブル水晶発振器としてSG-8000シリーズを、プログラミングツールとしてSG-Writerを販売しています。
